WHAT WE DO

The BSB is a registered charity that was founded in 1824 and provides benefits for those educated or employed at Christ’s Hospital, their parents, spouses, widows, widowers, children and dependents who are in need, hardship or distress.

In practice this help is given by making regular payments, by making grants or by providing interest-free loans which beneficiaries are asked to repay when their circumstances permit.

We can also provide information about many circumstances and give pointers to places where further financial assistance, advice and guidance can be obtained.

If you know someone in need of help, contact us confidentially today.

I Charge you never to forget the great benefits you have received in this place, and in time to come according to your means to do all that you can do to enable others to enjoy the same advantage.
