FAQs

Is the BSB part of CH?

No, the BSB is completely independent of Christ's Hospital. We are a separate charity. If you donate to the BSB this money does not go to Christ's Hospital itself.

Where does my money go?

Your money goes to a wide range of beneficiaries, selected by the BSB committee from the applications we receive. Visit the case studies page for more information on ways the BSB's money is spent.

How do you decide who receives help from the BSB?

The decision of who to help is made by the BSB committee, which individually assesses each application and then assigns funds (either as a loan, a grant or both) where appropriate.

How do I qualify for help from the BSB?

The BSB will accept applications for help from those educated or employed at Christ’s Hospital, their parents, spouses, widows, widowers, children and dependents who are in need, hardship or distress.

How do I apply for help from the BSB?

E
mail
julie@bluessuportingblues.net to be posted a printed form, or download, complete and return the relevant PDF version of the form. Your application will then be assessed by the committee and a decision made.

I want to help. How much does membership of the BSB cost?

Membership of the BSB costs just £15 a year, although we gratefully welcome higher annual donations. You can donate here or see below how to join the BSB.

How do I become a member of the BSB?
